In 5 days of 2017 London exceeded its annual target for air pollution levels.
For those of us living in and around the capital there is an unseen killer sharing the city with us. During the first five days of this year London exceeded its annual target for air pollution levels. For a few days in January the air quality was worse in the UK capital than in Beijing, a city renowned across the world for its unclean air. Further to this it is estimated that 9,400 premature deaths a year are caused by air pollution in London.
The big question of course is what can be done…
